# Saylater

> Saylater is an app for scheduling messages to the people you love. You write a message today, choose when it should be delivered (a specific date, or only if you stop opening the app for 15 days), and Saylater delivers it by email at 9:00 AM IST. It is free to start (two free scheduled messages, then ₹10 each), private, and available for Android. It is not a will or a legal document.

Saylater was created by Saurav TB Pandey. The site is https://saylater.app.

## What it does

- Write a message to one or more people, with an optional file attachment (up to 50 MB).
- Schedule it for a date, or choose "If I go quiet": it is held and only sent if the app has not been opened for 15 days. Opening the app at any time holds it back.
- Delivery is by email today. SMS delivery (a short text with a link to read the message) is coming soon.
- Edit, cancel or delete a message any time before it is sent. Drafts are free.
- Failed deliveries are retried up to three times, and the sender is notified.

## Things to know

- Pricing: the first two scheduled messages are free; each after that is ₹10, whether sent by one channel or two. Drafts are always free.
- Saylater cannot know why someone has gone quiet; it only knows the app has not been opened for 15 days.
- Messages are sent once a day at 9:00 AM IST on the chosen date.
- An iPhone app is not available yet. Anyone who receives a Saylater link can read it in any browser.
